2 tourists fall into wadi near Mt. Tabor, 1 seriously hurt

Two Russian tourists fell into a wadi near Mount Tabor in northern Israel early on Sunday morning, suffering injuries which required one of them to be rushed by helicopter to receive medical treatment.
The seriously injured tourist was admitted to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, while the second tourist was lightly injured. MDA paramedics evacuated him to Emek Medical Center in nearby Afula.
Police said that the approximately 50-year-old tourists were in the area of Mt. Tavor visiting a church. They were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
