At least twenty participants in Wednesday's bicycle marathon have been treated for various injuries, Magen David Adom said.

The majority of the injuries treated were the results of crashes or dehydration. Twelve of those injured were brought to a Tel Aviv hospital for further treatment, though none of the injuries were thought to be serious.

Even organizers said that over 20,000 people partook in the marathon including Tel Aviv-Jaffo Mayor Ron Huldai who biked a 24 kilometer route.
