A 27-year-old police officer died overnight between Thursday and Friday after his patrol vehicle overturned near the Jerusalem Light Rail. A 21-year-old police officer accompanying the first was seriously injured. According to preliminary investigations, the vehicle had been traveling at high speed although the cause of the incident remained unclear, Channel 2 reported.
