A 28-year-old man from Yafo was shot in the head in the coastal city of Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv. He was evacuated in critical condition to a local hospital, Magen David Adom said, where he soon succumbed to his wounds. Police said the motive behind the incident appeared to be criminal.
