Four haredi protesters were arrested on Wednesday as violent rioting resumed in Jerusalem's Mea She'arim neighborhood. Hundreds of demonstrators reportedly converged on the neighborhood, intermittently pelting police with stones, and snarling evening rush-hour traffic throughout the area. Since Tuesday, haredim have been protesting the arrest of a woman from their community, who police suspect of nearly starving her three-year-old child to death.
