Five Border Patrol officers were slightly injured on Friday from stones thrown by protesters participating in a demonstration near Hebron.

Army Radio reported that some 300 Palestinian and left-wing protesters called for the A-Shuhada Road in Hebron to be opened to Palestinian traffic.

The demonstration coincided with the 17 year anniversary of the incident in which Baruch Goldstein opened fire at the Cave of the Patriarchs, killing 29 Palestinians.
