Five of the twelve Islamic suspects arrested in connection with an attack against a Jewish grocery store in Sarcelles, France were released Thursday, French newspaper Le Monde, citing police sources, reported.

According to the paper, the suspects were released without charges being brought against them.

The other seven suspects are set to appear in court on Friday.

A thirteenth suspect, the alleged leader of the terrorist cell that perpetrated the firebombing, was killed in his home last week after opening fire at police.
