Five flights that were scheduled to land at Ben Gurion Airport were diverted to Cyprus overnight Thursday due to a heavy fog advisory.

The heavy fog continued along the coastline on Friday morning, but the fog advisory was lifted at Ben Gurion.

The fog was expected to continue along the coastline until the afternoon hours.
