Suspected al-Qaida rebels on Friday attacked an army vehicle, killing five soldiers near the Yemeni town of Marib, AFP reported quoting a security official."The vehicle was ambushed with an RPG [rocket-propelled grenade] and all five soldiers inside died," AFP quoted the official as saying. "Al-Qaida is suspected of carrying out this attack." The ambush came a day after Yemeni security forces killed 19 protesters opposed to President Ali Abdullah Saleh's rule.
