More than half of eligible voters, 55.5%, have cast their vote on Tuesday by 6 p.m., in comparison, only only 50.3% of the voters cast their ballot by that time in the previous elections in 2009.

As a result of the high voter turnout, the amount of voters needed to pass the threshold has risen to 80,000 voters, Channel 2 reported.
