80,000 Muslims attend Ramadan prayers in J'lem; no violence reported

Some 80,000 Muslims attended Ramadan prayers at the Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which ended peacefully on Friday afternoon. Thousands of policemen were deployed in east Jerusalem and in the Old City in a bid to ward off the anti-Israel riots that developed in the past.
