Abbas meets Italian president in Bethlehem

Italian President Sergio Mattarella met Tuesday in Bethlehem with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the two discussed regional matters and bilateral relations. During the meeting, Abbas reiterated the Palestinians unflinching position that a two-state solution with Israel be based on the pre-1967 borders.
