Palestinian Authority Head Mahmoud Abbas called for a meeting with top Palestinian officials on Friday regarding the Temple Mount at the Authority's presidential headquarters in Ramallah, according to Hebrew media.

The security cabinet also decided on Friday to maintain metal detectors at the holy site.

The tension at the Temple Mount sparked last Friday when three Israeli-Arab terrorists killed two policemen by Lions’ Gate.
