Abbas to meet with Mashaal Nov. 25 over unity gov't

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said on Wednesday he would meet with Hamas political bureau chief Khaled Mashaal on November 25 in order to organize the formation of a new unity Palestinian government.

Abbas, who made the comments at an assembly for the 23rd Palestinian "independence day," said that he would discuss the "stalled reconciliation agreement," including working towards free elections in the Palestinian territories next year, according to Palestinian newspaper Al Quds.
