Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will visit Saudi Arabia in the coming days to discuss the financial crisis in the West Bank, the Bethlehem-based Ma'an News Agency reported on Wednesday, citing Palestinian officials.

The report of the trip came after the PA announced last week that it was unable to pay civil servants their salaries for June.

PLO Secretary-General Yasser Abed Rabbo said that the PA planned to seek financial help from several Arab countries.
