The activist group Gush Shalom has called for the cancellation of the Jerusalem Day and declared it a racist holiday. 'This holiday is racist and gives license to harass Palestinians,' stressed an spokesperson for the organization. 'Jerusalem day will be a true holiday when the city becomes the capitol of two states living in peace,' they said.
