Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch on Saturday arrived at the scene of the rocket attack in Beersheba in which one man was killed and seven others were  wounded, placing the blame for rocket attacks from Gaza squarely on the shoulders of Hamas.

"Hamas is responsible, it controls the Gaza Strip," Aharonovitch stated.

Aharonovitch vowed that Hamas would pay a heavy price for the attacks on Israeli citizens.
