MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) on Monday responded to a letter written by opposition leader Shaul Mofaz demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to discuss Iran, saying the letter made Mofaz look ridiculous.
"It is unfortunate that on a topic that requires national responsibility, Mofaz is behaving irresponsibly," said Akunis, a close ally of Netanyahu. "Kadima led by Mofaz is living on borrowed time."
