The Israel Airports Authority will keep the Allenby crossing between the West Bank and Jordan open all night between Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the Ramadan holiday, the Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday.

The Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) requested that the terminal remain open for all passengers as it expects some 30,000 people to pass through it. The two bodies also arranged for medical teams to be on hand and for cold drinks to be provided to travelers considering the unseasonably high tempuratures.
