Arab League chief and Egyptian presidential hopeful Amr Moussa is in favor of peace with Israel, according to  Le Figaro.

In an interview with the French newspaper, Moussa said "it is in Egypt's interest to maintain its peace treaty with Israel."

He added that he thought Mubarak made a mistake in "the blockade of the Gaza Strip when it was brutally attacked by Israel in December 2008."
