Anti TV-tax campaign begins on Facebook

A campaign began of Facebook on Wednesday to persuade Communications Minister Gilad Erdan to cancel the Israel Broadcasting Authority's television tax and make the IBA independent of the government.

IBA ombudsman Dedy Markovich responded that he agrees that the law must be changed and that the current IBA Law, including the TV tax, does not fit the current era.
