Apparent gas explosion leaves three injured in south Tel Aviv

A 30-year-old woman was seriously injured and two others lightly and moderately hurt in an apparent gas explosion in an apartment building on Herzl Street in south Tel Aviv on Sunday.
Magen David Adom paramedics said that at 10:46 a.m. they received a call of an explosion in the first floor apartment of a two story apartment building on Herzl Street. When they arrived, they said they found 30-year-old woman unconscious and suffering from burns to her upper body. She also sustained injuries caused by the shock wave of the blast. The woman was put on a respirator and rushed to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
Two other victims, both suffering from smoke inhalation were taken by paramedics to Ichilov from the scene of the blast.
