Apple Inc. is preparing to acquire Israeli company LinX for a possible price of $20 million, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. Both companies stayed mum on the deal, with only Apple releasing a simple statement. 'Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans,' a company spokesperson said. LinX is a company that develops and markets cameras for mobile phones and tablets.
