Approximately 100 protest outside Ofer Prison in W. Bank

Approximately 100 Palestinians protested outside the Ofer Prison adjacent to the Beitunia crossing in the West Bank Tuesday ahead of an announcement that Palestinian administrative detainee would end his hunger strike.

The protesters were demanding the immediate release of Khader Adnan.

The IDF Spokesman's Unit said protesters were hurling rocks at security forces. A spokesman for the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee said via Twitter that 11 protesters were injured by rubber bullets at the protest.
