Arab Silwan residents throw stones at Israeli tourists

Arab residents of Silwan threw stones at a group of Israeli tourists near the Shiloah spring on Sunday late afternoon.

The area is near the City of David archeological park and a popular tourist destination. One tourist standing to the side was hit with a stone in the head and injured lightly.

She was treated on the scene and taken to Har Hatzofim Hospital.

In a separate incident, border police dispersed a group of a few dozen youths in Silwan throwing stones from rooftops. There were no injuries and no damages.
