An Arab youth reported Tuesday evening that while he was walking in Safra Square in the center of Jerusalem, three teenagers asked him for a lighter. When he said he did not have a lighter, one of the boys cut him in the leg with a box cutter.

Police said the circumstances of the incident are still unclear.

The injured youth was taken to the Hadassah University Medical Center on Mount Scopus.
