An Arab man in his forties was in moderate condition on Thursday after being stabbed in the stomach by a Jewish youth in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot Eshkol, Israel Radio reported. The wounded man was evacuated to the capital's Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. The background to the stabbing was unknown. Police were scanning the area in search of the assailant who fled the scene, reportedly to the nearby Ramot Eshkol shopping center.
