The Tel Aviv district attorney charged a 30 year-old Ashkelon man on Sunday with human trafficking and running a prostitution ring.
According to the indictment filed in Tel Aviv District Court, the accused, Guy Hassid, opened a brothel in Cyprus with the aid of two other individuals. Together, they forced dozens of women to leave their countries of origin and join a prostitution ring.
The Tel Aviv district office asked that Hassid's custody be extended until the legal procedure against him has come to a close.
