IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi met Quartet Middle East envoy Tony Blair on Tuesday night for talks on the security situation in the region, particularly in the West Bank. During the talks at the Kirya military complex in Tel Aviv, Ashkenazi briefed Blair on the series of measures Israel has recently taken to ease Palestinian movement, as well as on the operations of the Palestinian Authority security forces.
