Assad to Ahmadinejad: 'Don't visit southern Lebanon'

Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa reported that Syrian President Bashar Assad advised Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad not to visit southern Lebanon when the two last met in Damascus, Israel Radio reported.

Ahmadinejad reportedly told Assad that the visit holds strategic importance for him because southern Lebanon is Iran's border with Israel, according to Israel Radio.
