At least 15 countries have agreed to take up Syrian refugees

At least fifteen countries have agreed to set up special quotas for Syrian refugees, the New York Times quoted the head of the UN refugee agency as saying on Tuesday.
The countries offered to help resettle civilians fleeing the two and a half years long civil war.
Offers came from the US and many European countries after Lebanese President Michele Suleiman has asked the UN for help with the overwhelming amount of refugees in his country.
