Australian national kidnapped in Yemen freed after 7 months

SYDNEY - An Australian kidnapped in Yemen has been released safe and well after seven months in captivity, Australia's foreign minister said on Wednesday.

"I confirm that an Australian kidnapped in Yemen in October last year has been released and is safe and well," Julie Bishop said in a statement.
