Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon on Monday held a special press briefing for Latin American journalists stationed in Israel to discuss the nuclear threat Iran poses to Israel and the strategic threat Iranian expansionism has fueled in the Middle East as well as Latin America.Ayalon addressed during the meeting Israel's concerns of possible Latin American support for a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood and with national borders, reminding and requesting from countries in Latin America to recognize the necessity of a negotiated solution acceptable to both sides.The deputy foreign minister was also to quick to praise during the meeting the warm relations that currently exist between the Israel and many Latin American governments.
