Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon warned the Israeli public and Israeli representatives in the United States not to get  involved in US debate between the Republicans and the Democrats.

In a briefing to Foreign Ministry Consulate heads in the United States, Ayalon said: "Israel must not become a tool for political attacks, whoever say that the US is a world power in decline is mistaken and misleading."
