BBC: British lawmaker shot, injured in northern England

LONDON  -  A British lawmaker has been injured after being attacked in northern England amid reports of a shooting incident, the BBC reported on Thursday.

Other media reported that Labour Member of Parliament Jo Cox had been shot in the incident at a meeting with constituents in Birstall near Leeds.
