Rocket sirens were sounded in southern Israel on Wednesday afternoon, possibly signaling a launch of projectiles from the Gaza Strip toward Israel. The cause of the siren is under investigation.

The sirens were heard in the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel, near the Gaza border, but rocket falls have not yet been heard not identified.

This is a developing story
