Barak decides to stay in US to try and salvage talks

Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced Saturday that he will stay in the US longer than expected in an attempt to try and salvage peace talks, Israel Radio reported.

Barak is set to meet with US officials to discuss the main issues including the settlement freeze and Jerusalem.
