Defense Minister Ehud Barak congratulated the defense community for the successful test-firing of a missile on Wednesday.
"This is an impressive technological achievement, and an important step
in Israel's advancement in the field of missiles and space, which has
been planed for a long time," Barak said.
"The successful test is further evidence of
the the highest level of engineers, technicians, and members of the
Israeli defense industries."
Barak traveled to Britain Wednesday for a series of defense meetings with British Defense Minister Philip Hammond, Foreign Minister William Hague and defense and intelligence leaders.
