Defense Minister Ehud Barak congratulated the defense community for the successful test-firing of a missile on Wednesday. "This is an impressive technological achievement, and an important step in Israel's advancement in the field of missiles and space, which has been planed for a long time," Barak said."The successful test is further evidence of the the highest level of engineers, technicians, and members of the Israeli defense industries." Barak traveled to Britain Wednesday for a series of defense meetings with British Defense Minister Philip Hammond, Foreign Minister William Hague and defense and intelligence leaders.
