Bayit Yehudi MK: Freezing of settlement construction interpreted as weakness by terrorists

Bayit Yehudi MK Nissan Slomiansky said Friday that freezing settlement construction – a move in line with Israel's "desire to conduct negotiations with the Palestinian Authority" – is interpreted as a weakness by terrorists.

The lawmaker said terrorists take advantage of this "weakness" in order to carry out attacks against Israeli travelers in the West Bank. Slomiansky's comments come on the heels of a shooting attack near Ramallah that killed a 25-year-old Israeli and lightly injured another.
