Bayit Yehudi on Saturday evening rejected Tzipi Livni's claims made over the weekend that the party's leader, Naftali Bennett, was responsible for settlers' attacks against security forces at the Oz Zion outpost on Friday.
The party called Livni's comments "unfortunate," claiming that she was putting words in Bennett's mouth while he was observing the Sabbath and could not respond.
Bayit Yehudi charged that Livni was tying Bennett to events to which he had no connection.
