A Beduin man who was spotted by the IDF on Tuesday afternoon crossing into the Gaza Strip, returned safely to Israel on Wednesday morning.
officials, including Israeli-Arab MKs, coordinated the man's transfer
to Israel with Hamas officials in the Strip, Army Radio reported.
The man, said to be
mentally ill, apparently crossed into the Strip by jumping the border fence. The man's family, from the Negev village of Hura, was lobbying for his return, amid fears that he had been abducted by Hamas.
