Student protesters in Beersheba taking part in nationwide tent protests against housing prices burned tires and blocked a major street Thursday night. Police were dispatched and reopened the street for traffic.The protest was one of several similar protests that took place throughout the country on Thursday, beginning with a student protest in Tel Aviv early in the morning in which students took over a construction site of a luxury apartment complex.
