Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Benyamin Ben-Eliezer has threatened to appeal for an extension if Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz does not support the legislation to raise minimum wage.

In addition, Ben-Eliezer also claimed that the Labor Party will withdraw from the coalition within a month or two if no real progress is made. "If negotiations are accelerated, than we will continue to back the coalition," Ben-Eliezer told Army Radio. "If not, then we are out of here, and I will be the first to get up and leave."
