Israel's Ben -Gurion International Airport issued a statement saying flight operations were back to normal after a temporary freeze of flight operations. The airport's statement said planes were kept in a holding position over the Mediterranean for a short while and takeoffs were delayed for 20 minutes. The airspace north of Tel Aviv has been cleared of commercial air traffic.
