Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and new IDF Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi met for the first time in an official capacity during the latter's tenure, the prime minister's office said in a statement on Thursday. The pair had a 'working meeting,' his office said. Kochavi officially took the role as army chief earlier this week.
