Education Minister Naftali Bennett announced on Wednesday during a tour of communities on the Gaza border that his ministry will expand summer camps and activities for children living in the area.

The activities are intended for preschool and kindergarten pupils as well as pupils in first and second grades participating in the ministry's existing School of Summer camp program.

"The children in the Gaza envelope deal with unfathomable stress day and night and as such I informed the council leaders this morning that I decided to provide all preschool and elementary school children summer camps full of good experiences. We are here to support them and to express our appreciation for their constant bravery," Bennett said.
