Benny Begin on Monday morning stated that he will run for a spot on the Likud party list in the next Knesset.

Speaking at the start of a Likud faction meeting, Begin said that "in the coming months I will work to the best of my abilities to strengthen the Likud party in the 19th Knesset. In the coming weeks, I will ask the Likud faithful to maintain my position in public service," Army Radio quoted him as saying.
