Ronen Tzur, a political strategist in Benny Gantz's Israel Resilience party, is "torpedoing" a joint run with Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party, ynet reported on Sunday, citing "senior figures" in Yesh Atid.
Political parties have until Thursday to register joint tickets, and Gantz's and Lapid's parties are generally polling second and third behind Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party for April's elections.
Ynet cited two "senior figures" in Yesh Atid who said Tzur, in private conversation, was attempting to end the internal discussions within the party about joining a ticket with Israel Resilience.
