Bereaved families accompanied by tens of protesters blocked traffic across from government offices on Kaplan St. in Tel Aviv on Thursday evening, in a demonstration against the expected release of 26 Palestinian prisoners. The protesters adopted the slogan, “Israeli government ministers – be ashamed.” Banners with the slogan were hung outside government offices in Jerusalem as well ahead of the protest.
