Betzalel Smotrich slams new head of Bayit Yehudi

Member of Knesset Betzalel Smotrich (National Union) slammed newly appointed head of the Bayit Yehudi party Rafi Peretz on Sunday asking, "can he lead a negotiation to form a coalition or an election campaign? Did he ever do a poll?"
MK Smotrich was speaking with the religious news website Srugim.
In the past National Union ran with Bayit Yehudi with the larger party winning 12 seats in Knesset, four of which were given to National Union. The former IDF Chief Rabbi is seen as a more moderate figure while MK Smotrich is viewed by Bayit Yehudi as being more nationalistic.
